“YURAYGIR WEEKEND” this is indeed a weekend for nature lovers at its best; during this tour, you will walk the start of the Yuraygir National Park a stretch of sixty-five kilometres of flora and fauna landscape!

Duration: allow two full days Saturday and Sunday

INCLUSIONS: 

Return transfer in our ten-seater commuter bus from Brisbane to Yamba- Please note maximum occupancy is eight passengers for the weekend tours.
- One night accommodation in two four share room at the Yamba Yha Hostel
- Complimentary bottled water
- Light lunch on arrival taste the famous Yamba's fish and cheaps

- Guided tour of Yamba and Lighthouse lookout point

- Guided tour of Yuraygir National Park on Sunday

ITINERARY

Saturday:

Brisbane to Yamba tours will pick up guests Saturday morning from Brisbane Roma St Bus stop 125, outside Brisbane Transit Centre @ 08:00 am, please arrive 15 minutes earlier.

From there we will drive to Yamba and make one stop along the way aiming to arrive at Yamba YHA Hostel at 12:00 pm.

You will have time to your self to exploring and see where the beaches are hiding or lounging around while waiting for our check-in or start planning for the yummy food we will have for dinner!

Lunch: we will head to famous fish and cheaps eateries, and we will share a platter of Yamba's prawns and seafood delicacies.

Afternoon: Choose to do the walk up to Yamba to Pilot Hill and /or grab any activity on offer at YHA hostel, we will then meet for dinner at around 19:00.

Sunday:

After breakfast, we will meet our guide Jessica (from yuraygirwalks.com.au) at Angourie point heading to  Shelly Headland.(around 09:30 am)

Jessica is a discovery ranger and certified guide.We will stop along the way( allowing four hours to complete walk) and you will have many opportunities to ask questions about local flora and fauna and take lots of photos while savouring a delicious morning tea.

Lunch: feel free to grab anything you fancy or browse around the stalls of the Yamba River Market.

Afternoon: as per Brisbane to Yamba tours tradition, we close the day saying goodbye to "Wally" the wallaby golfer at the Yamba Golf Club and you can grab a coffee at the bar before heading back to Brisbane, all is left to do now is sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. We aim to depart at 3:30 pm.
